Marketing & Digital Content Intern

XRT develops advanced simulation and immersive training solutions for defense and other high-stakes training environments. We are seeking a Marketing & Digital Content Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the development, organization, and presentation of technical marketing content.

The intern will work directly with XRT leadership and technical team members and will gain practical experience translating complex technologies into clear, compelling visual and written communications.

Responsibilities

Assist with recording and editing simulator demonstrations, product videos, and other digital content.

Organize existing videos, photographs, graphics, and marketing assets into a structured, reusable digital content library.

Develop short-form video clips and visual content for presentations, social media, events, and business development activities.

Assist in preparing marketing materials for trade shows, demonstrations, customer meetings, and industry events.

Help maintain consistency across XRT's digital and printed marketing materials.

Participate in discussions with technical and business-development personnel to learn how complex products are positioned and communicated to different audiences.

Complete defined marketing and content-development projects that can be included in a professional portfolio where appropriate.

Learning Objectives

Internship Structure

This is a defined internship experience with an established beginning and end date. The intern will receive direct supervision, regular meetings, project guidance, and feedback from XRT personnel. Assignments will be structured around both XRT projects and the student's academic and professional development goals.

For virtual or hybrid participation, the intern will meet regularly with their supervisor through scheduled virtual meetings.

The internship does not guarantee permanent employment following completion.
