The primary role for the Corporate Strategy Intern will be as a member of teams assisting business leadership in developing organic and inorganic growth strategies for their businesses as well as developing more effective marketing solutions focused on Eastman’s aggressive innovation portfolio.
Your team will be prepared to give you all the support you need to understand how we work and how we serve our Eastman business partners. In this role, you can expect to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to present results to senior leaders and implement your recommendations in collaboration with Business Unit partners.
You will experience exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues. This support includes a director to help guide your career, helping you to develop your skills and build your network, as well as several weeks of formal training in your first two years.
Responsibilities
- Assist in execution of key Eastman strategy and planning tools, frameworks, and analytics.
- Design, conduct, and summarize results of primary research efforts, which may include project management for outside vendors.
- Design, conduct and summarize results of secondary research efforts.
- Develops the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure its continued successful growth and profitability.
- Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Technical, Business, or Marketing undergraduate degree study preferred but not required.
- Evidence of exceptional performance as an Undergraduate Student and/or evidence of quantitative analysis required.
