TikTok & Instagram Content Creator Intern - PolyChat
PolyChat just hit a major milestone: over 10,000 downloads in a single 28-day period. We're growing quickly and are looking to work with talented UGC creators who want to help us build the next generation of language-learning content.
Must be based in the US.
You don't need to be an expert. We're happy to help you learn the ropes and provide guidance on what works. We're primarily looking for someone who is creative, motivated, and willing to experiment. If you're interested in doing more than the initial 3 videos per week, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow your role and compensation over time.
The App:
PolyChat is a language-learning app built around real conversations and highly customizable lessons.
With PolyChat, users can:
- Learn 17 languages through A1–C2 mastery paths and 5,000+ structured lessons per language
- Create custom lessons and conversations on virtually any topic
- Practice with unlimited free lessons — no energy system or daily limits
- Learn real-world speech with Adult Mode, including slang, dating, and casual conversation
- Build grammar skills through game-based learning
- Compete through leaderboards and streaks
- Learn languages in any direction with language laddering
The Job
We're looking for a creator to build and manage a TikTok + Instagram account around language learning content.
You'll:
- Create and post 3 short-form videos per week
- Post each video to both TikTok and Instagram
- Create content around language learning and PolyChat's features
- Research and recreate trending formats in the language-learning space
- Experiment with your own original content formats
- Manage and grow the account over time
We'll help you get started with content ideas and formats that we already know can work. From there, we're looking for someone who can take ownership, experiment, and figure out what gets people watching and engaging.
For reference, @fluentoncampus is the type of content/account we're envisioning.
Compensation:
- $50/week for 3 videos, posted across TikTok and Instagram.
As the account grows and your content performs well, we're open to performance-based bonuses, increased compensation, and having you manage additional accounts.
Your Qualifications
- Comfortable creating short-form video content from start to finish
- Strong on-camera presence and storytelling ability
- Creative and able to come up with compelling content ideas
- Familiar with TikTok/Instagram trends and what makes content perform
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Interested in language learning or familiar with language-learning apps
- Previous UGC, influencer, or social media experience is a plus
