Interns will learn the management consulting industry and gain valuable skills such as business problem-solving, data collection and analysis, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Support consulting engagement, business development, and administration activities
- Develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Assist in the identification of innovative solutions and operating models to support client growth and profitability objectives
- Work with clients from Fortune 1000 companies across the life sciences and high-tech industries
- Synthesize and communicate results to Partners and clients
Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing an MBA or a technical undergraduate or graduate degree (e.g., Engineering, Science)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
- Interest in management consulting after graduation
- Ability to work independently and in small teams
- Strong academic or professional references
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally based on client needs
- Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to team culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, modeling, benchmarking)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to create clear visuals and slides to communicate ideas
- Leadership or teamwork experience
- Strong time management and ability to balance multiple commitments
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new industries and tools quickly
- Familiarity with Accel practice areas (operations, innovation) is a plus
