Human Resources Assistant (NAF/Developmental) NF-02/03
Summary
This position is located with the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Personnel Office, Zama, Japan. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing.
Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies.
Extends job offers, conducts pre-employment screenings and assists selectees during pre-employment processes.
Uses automated systems to track requests for personnel actions and continually updates status of assigned personnel actions.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental)Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing. 2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
