Khipara, LLC is an AI-focused company operating under BalanX Bio. We are currently seeking a Computer Science Director to support and lead technical development across our AI product initiatives.

This is a remote leadership opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, technically capable, and interested in working in an early-stage startup environment. The Computer Science Director will help guide technical planning, coordinate engineering work, support product development, and work closely with leadership and team members to move projects from concept toward execution.

Compensation: Equity-based / unpaid at this stage, with future opportunities depending on performance, company needs, available roles, and funding status

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate computer science and engineering-related workstreams
• Support technical planning, system design, and development execution
• Work with AI, backend, frontend, and product team members
• Review technical progress and help resolve development blockers
• Assist with project organization, task delegation, and team communication
• Support documentation, testing, workflow improvement, and product readiness
• Collaborate with company leadership on technical direction and project priorities

Qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field
• Strong understanding of software development, system design, and technical project execution
• Experience with programming, backend/frontend development, cloud tools, databases, AI systems, or related technologies
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote startup environment
• Prior leadership, project management, research, or product development experience is preferred
