This is a hands-on role for someone who loves turning ideas into action. You will oversee social media, content, email marketing, promotions, events, partnerships, and advertising while helping coordinate interns and keep multiple projects moving forward.

You will work closely with business owners to strengthen each brand, attract new customers, increase event attendance, and produce marketing that delivers measurable results.

This position is ideal for an emerging marketing professional or college student who is ready to take meaningful ownership, build a strong portfolio, and gain experience working across multiple brands.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy and Campaigns

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and event launches
  • Identify target audiences and develop campaigns for private parties, themed events, weekly specials, and other revenue opportunities
  • Create and coordinate weekly email marketing campaigns
  • Manage paid social media and event advertising
  • Develop outreach strategies involving local media, influencers, and community partners
  • Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements

Content and Social Media

  • Oversee content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Build and manage content calendars for multiple brands
  • Maintain consistent posting schedules, quality standards, and brand voices
  • Monitor social media trends and identify relevant content opportunities
  • Coordinate content requests among business owners, interns, and creative partners
  • Review and approve content before publication

Events and Promotions

  • Help plan, promote, and execute themed nights, holiday promotions, launch parties, and other events
  • Coordinate posters, digital signage, social media graphics, and additional promotional materials
  • Publish events across Eventbrite, local media outlets, and community calendars
  • Track attendance and promotional performance to improve future events

Brand Visibility and Community Partnerships

  • Maintain accurate and optimized Google Business Profiles and online listings
  • Support strategies for generating and responding to customer reviews
  • Develop cross-promotions with local businesses and community organizations
  • Identify partnership, collaboration, and influencer opportunities
  • Engage with customers through social media comments, local groups, and other online communities

Client and Project Management

  • Lead weekly check-ins and structured business reviews
  • Maintain strong relationships with business owners through regular communication
  • Keep business information—including hours, offerings, and brand details—accurate across marketing platforms
  • Build and maintain clear priorities, task lists, and deadlines for each brand
  • Document meetings, decisions, strategies, and results

Systems and Team Coordination

  • Organize marketing calendars, campaigns, contacts, and deliverables using Airtable, Google Sheets, and related tools
  • Maintain databases for partnerships, influencers, collaborations, and outreach
  • Assign and oversee projects completed by interns
  • Lead weekly intern meetings and communicate asynchronously throughout the week
  • Develop repeatable workflows, training materials, and quality-control processes
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure work is completed accurately and consistently

Analytics and Optimization

  • Track results across social media, email, advertising, events, and promotional campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement, attendance, customer acquisition, and revenue
  • Share clear performance insights with business owners
  • Adjust strategies based on results rather than assumptions

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years of marketing experience gained through employment, internships, freelance work, student organizations, or relevant projects
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and current trends
  • Excellent organization and project-management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple brands, campaigns, and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to move projects forward with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Comfort providing direction, following up, and holding others accountable
  • Availability to work 10–20 hours per week in a hybrid environment

Experience with Airtable, Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools, paid advertising, hospitality, or event promotion is helpful but not required.

Junior and senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.

  • Increased foot traffic and event attendance
  • Consistent, engaging content across every brand
  • Stronger visibility within the local community
  • Well-organized marketing systems and dependable execution
  • Productive relationships with business owners, partners, and interns
  • Measurable growth in reach, engagement, customer acquisition, and revenue-generating activity
