Elementary Teacher (3-6)

Mater Academy Texas is seeking a passionate and dedicated 3–6 Elementary Teacher to join our team as we open a new campus in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2027–2028 school year.

As one of our founding educators, you will help students develop the academic skills, confidence, independence, and leadership abilities they need to succeed.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student growth, rigorous instruction, and creating a classroom culture where students are both challenged and supported.
We are seeking teachers across the following content areas:

• English Language Arts (ELA)
• Mathematics
• Science
• Social Studies
• Art
• Music
• Spanish
• STEM

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction.
• Create a positive and academically focused classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
• Use assessment data to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
• Develop students' critical-thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership.
• Contribute to the development of our school culture.
