Pre-K Teacher

Mater Academy Texas is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team as we open a new campus in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2027–2028 school year.

As one of our founding educators, you will have the unique opportunity to help build our school culture, establish classroom traditions, and create a strong foundation for student learning from day one.

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who understands the importance of early childhood development and is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and joyful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Monitor student progress and use assessment information to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership.
• Contribute to the development of a positive school culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for early childhood education and working with young learners.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high expectations for all students.
• Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Texas certification or eligibility for certification preferred.
