Servers:

Servers consistently provide five start customer service satisfying guests and colleagues, maintaining high standards. Our staff provide food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner; and assist in the overall logistics of an event by way of set-up, clear communication and a spirit of teamwork.

Servers Essential Functions:

Set up all function table linens, china, silverware, glassware, centerpieces. Set up wait and beverage stations. Set up all perishable items for event service. Take the initiative to greet guests and staff in a friendly and warm manner. Serve all food and beverages to patrons. Observe Guests to fulfill any additional requests. Clear away all dishes, linens, and items used in the service of an event. Ensure proper storage of all items, from equipment to perishable foods. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

Lead Servers:

The Lead Server effectively controls and manages the operations of catered events that exceed expectations of our clients by providing exceptional food integrated into stunning style & decor elements. This position requires a combination of extensive food knowledge, attention to detail, strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, be proactive and have an eye for quality for room and food station design with a respectful manner in dealing with clients, coworkers and staff on a team.

Lead Servers Essential Functions:

Creating and executing plans for the day-of the event, including staff assignments; leading the service, set-up and breakdown of events; accountability for equipment and product inventories; accurate tracking and timekeeping of staff hours; accurate and honest reporting of any issues effecting the successful execution of an event; participate in meetings with Executive Sous Chef and Event Catering Staff, the management team and event planners to ensure menu expectations are clear; to better understand the dynamics of the event, as well as offer insight and suggestions into more efficient execution of the event.

Lead Server Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing the execution of off-site food & beverage events; or a combination of upscale food and beverage service experience with staff supervision (For Lead)
• Tips and ServSafe Certifications (Can be acquired after hire)
• Eye for Quality and presentation
• Respectful
• Passionate about events, design and food & beverage
• Polished presentation and communication
• Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to Commit to Events

Physical Demands:

The employee is required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less on a regular basis.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $22.00 /hour
