Position Description

The Student Conduct Work-Study Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the Office of Student Conduct. The student will assist with office operations, organization, and event preparation while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive case information. This role will support the office’s mission to uphold university policies and procedures and report to the Director of Student Conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining confidential case records.
  • Prepare forms, letters, and other documents as needed.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and professionally greet visitors.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and university policies.
  • Support event preparation, training sessions, and office communications.
  • Assist with scheduling and organizational tasks as assigned.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Collaborate with staff on special projects or office initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
