Student Support Technician

Position Description

  • This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic technology environment. The worker will be assisting walk-in users with common issues such as printing
  • problems, laptop troubleshooting, and ID card access.
  • They will also help set up technology for campus events.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist walk-in users with printing problems, laptop troubleshooting, and ID card access.
  2. Take photos and print ID cards for users needing replacement or new IDs.
  3. Help set up technology for campus events, including transporting up to 50 pounds of speakers.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of designated areas and storage locations.
  5. Assist with inventory and equipment tracking and management.
  6. Prepare and set up devices for new hires.
  7. Collect and process equipment from departing employees.
  8. Participate in large-scale events, equipment moves, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Include any specific qualifications such as GPA, major, class standing, technical skills, language skills, or scheduling requirements.


Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Interest in technology is a plus, but not required.
