Program Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to lead and support community-based initiatives that promote health, education, and social well-being. Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute community programs focused on public health, youth engagement, and social services
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and retention to build a committed team of community advocates
  • Coordinate outreach efforts through social media management, marketing strategies, and grassroots organizing to increase program visibility
  • Facilitate public speaking engagements and community meetings to promote program goals and foster partnerships
  • Collect and analyze data related to program participation, outcomes, and community needs to inform continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to strengthen community ties
  • Oversee program budgets, fundraising efforts, and grant applications to ensure sustainability and growth

Skills

  • Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams in community settings
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Expertise in program development, project management, and social media management
  • Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, and working with culturally diverse communities
  • Excellent data collection skills coupled with organizational proficiency for tracking progress and reporting outcomes
  • Experience in grassroots community organizing and outreach within underserved populations
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve multilingual communities
  • Demonstrated leadership in youth programs teaching or social work environments
  • Exceptional written communication skills for grant writing, reports, and promotional materials
  • Technical proficiency in relevant software tools for project coordination and client communication
  • CPR certification is preferred for safety compliance during outreach activities
