Business Analyst Intern

Position Overview

The Business Analyst Intern — Marketing & Business Development will support SAC's growth strategy across investment, technology, advisory, and strategic partnership initiatives.

The role combines market intelligence, competitive analysis, business development, strategic research, marketing analytics, and commercial execution.

This is not a traditional social-media internship. The successful candidate will be expected to understand markets, identify commercial opportunities, analyze prospective partners and clients, and convert research into actionable business-development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive intelligence research.
• Identify prospective investors, partners, portfolio companies, clients, and strategic relationships.
• Analyze industries, companies, markets, and emerging technology trends.
• Build and maintain business-development pipelines.
• Conduct account and prospect research.
• Develop company and executive profiles.
• Support outbound business-development initiatives.
• Analyze marketing and business-development performance.
• Develop market maps and competitive landscapes.
• Support go-to-market strategy for SAC Nexus and other SAC initiatives.
• Prepare investment, partnership, and business-development briefing materials.
• Assist with LinkedIn and digital-content strategy.
• Track industry developments and identify opportunities for SAC leadership.
• Convert research into concise executive-level recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides capabilities.
• Excellent written English.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly.
• Strong commercial judgment and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, market-research tools, or business-intelligence platforms is beneficial.
• Interest in private equity, venture capital, technology, AI, healthcare, or international business is highly desirable.
