Part Time Elementary Art Teacher (3 hours a week)
St. Mary's Academy is seeking a passionate, creative, and joyful Art Teacher to inspire our elementary students! If you love working with kids and sharing the fun of artistic expression, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom. No prior formal teaching experience is necessary—we are eager to mentor you along the way!
This position is ideal for a college student looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work that adds real value to a resume.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate art lessons for young learners.
Encourage creativity, confidence, and skill-building using a variety of art mediums.
Maintain a welcoming, organized classroom grounded in a supportive community.
Qualifications:
Personal or academic background/interest in art (no formal teaching experience required).
Genuine passion for working with and encouraging young children.
Willingness to learn and be mentored by our supportive school team.
Ability to commit to the full school year (through late June).
Ability to complete standard safe-environment requirements and background checks.
