AS AN ASSISTANT TEACHER, YOU WILL:

• Work directly with the teacher in planning and setting up the classroom and its activities

• Supervise the children in numerous educational or play activities

• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development

• Help create a warm, stimulating, and well-organized classroom environment

• Assist in maintaining a safe, healthy and engaging learning space

• Attend agency and community meetings as needed

• Work collaboratively with families, staff, and the community

 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

High school diploma

• Child Development Accreditation

Certification

• Some college credits

• A love for working with young children

• Patience, reliability, creativity, and a sense of humor

• A commitment to teamwork and serving children and families
