Business Growth & Marketplace Operations Intern — MONTRA / Elite Home Fitness
MONTRA and Elite Home Fitness are looking for ambitious students who want hands-on experience building and growing a real fitness and wellness business.
This is not an internship where you simply observe from the sidelines. You will gain exposure to entrepreneurship, marketplace operations, marketing, customer acquisition, partnerships, business development, technology, and the day-to-day decisions involved in scaling a company.
MONTRA is building a technology-enabled marketplace that connects clients with qualified fitness and wellness coaches, while Elite Home Fitness operates premium fitness and wellness services.
What You'll Learn & Work On
Depending on your interests and skills, you may participate in projects involving:
- Business development and growth strategy
- Market and competitor research
- Customer acquisition and marketing
- Social media and content strategy
- Coach recruitment and marketplace growth
- Partnership research and outreach
- Customer experience
- Business operations
- Data collection and market analysis
- AI and technology-enabled business processes
- Startup strategy and new-market expansion
You will work alongside company leadership and gain exposure to how business decisions are made, tested, and executed.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for students who are curious, dependable, ambitious, and interested in learning how businesses actually grow.
Students studying Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance, Communications, Sports Management, Exercise Science, Technology, Data Analytics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Previous professional experience is not required. Initiative, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more.
Internship Structure
This is an unpaid educational internship designed to provide practical business experience and professional development. We are open to working with universities where students may be eligible to receive academic credit.
The initial internship may run for up to six months, depending on school requirements, availability, and mutual fit.
Strong performers may be considered for future paid part-time or full-time opportunities as MONTRA and Elite continue to grow. Future employment is not guaranteed.
For international students, future employment authorization or visa sponsorship may be considered where legally available and appropriate based on the role and business needs, but sponsorship is not guaranteed.
