We’re looking for an enthusiastic German Instructor to introduce young learners to the German language through fun, interactive, and age-appropriate activities.
You’ll teach students practical vocabulary, pronunciation, everyday expressions, and foundational language skills through games, conversations, storytelling, songs, cultural activities, and hands-on challenges.
The goal isn't simply to teach German—it’s to make students curious, confident, and excited to keep learning.
You don't need to be a professional language teacher. If you have strong German skills, enjoy working with children, and can make language learning approachable and fun, you may be a great fit.
Curriculum guidance and teaching materials are provided, giving you a structured foundation while leaving room for your own creativity and teaching style.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Lead engaging, beginner-friendly German language sessions
- Teach practical vocabulary, pronunciation, everyday expressions, and foundational grammar
- Use games, storytelling, songs, challenges, and conversation to make learning memorable
- Help students practice speaking German in a supportive, low-pressure environment
- Introduce age-appropriate aspects of German-speaking cultures, traditions, and everyday life
- Adapt activities and explanations to different ages, learning styles, and experience levels
- Encourage students to participate, ask questions, and try speaking without fear of mistakes
- Create an inclusive classroom where every student feels welcome and supported
- Provide positive, constructive feedback and celebrate student progress
- Encourage curiosity about language and culture
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared, energetic, and ready to make every class engaging

You don't need to be a professional teacher. We’re looking for someone who knows German well and can make learning the language exciting and accessible to young learners.
You may be a great fit if you have:

Teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, camps, youth programs, or education is helpful.
Native and fluent speakers, advanced German learners, German and language students, multilingual professionals, college students, recent graduates, and passionate language enthusiasts are all encouraged to apply.
