Internships at Ag Valley
Internships allow you the chance to apply knowledge from classroom instruction to a 12 to 14-week internship. You will be a part of the Ag Valley team, where you encounter real challenges, and accomplish your goals. We look for motivated, driven individuals that want to join our team.
Scope of Responsibilities and Job Requirements
- Learn to operate the feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with performing necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift
- Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Create, develop and execute feed rations and marketing strategies that capture maximum value
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, and internal staff
