Times Needed: 10-12 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with specific availability requested during: 

  • Monday afternoons
  • Tuesday mornings
  • Wednesdays, 8 AM-5 PM

Qualifications: 

  • Must have Work-Study. (If you are unsure if you have Work-Study, check your award letter or with the Financial Aid office at 906-227-2327). 
  • Strong communication, telephone and listening skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Familiar with university procedures and policies
  • Must have knowledge of and familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be organized, dependable, and motivated
  • Must be free of conduct and academic probations
  • Minimum NMU cumulative GPA of 2.5

Duties: Answer phones, complete withdrawal paperwork for students, help students who have questions or concerns, refer students to appropriate staff, adhere to FERPA confidentiality requirements, and perform other clerical tasks as needed. 

Compensation: Minimum wage
