My Skin Medical Spa specializes in injectables, advanced facials, and laser treatments. We help clients look and feel their best through expert, results-driven care in a welcoming, professional environment. We're looking for a creative, self-motivated social media intern to help grow our online presence and connect with clients in our community.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced social media intern to help plan, create, and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the aesthetics/beauty space (or is eager to learn it) and knows how to turn treatments, before-and-afters, and behind-the-scenes moments into scroll-stopping content. 

Responsibilities

  • Film and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) featuring treatments, staff, and client experiences
  • Monitor comments, messages, and reviews, and respond or flag them for the team
  • Track engagement, follower growth, and post performance; report on what's resonating
  • Stay current on social media trends, sounds, and formats relevant to the medical spa/beauty industry
  • Assist with occasional in-office content shoots (client testimonials, treatment demos, staff spotlights)
  • Support influencer or promotional collaborations as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college program (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred)
  • Prior experience managing or contributing to social media accounts (personal brand, student organization, or professional experience)
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok best practices, trends, and content formats
  • Comfortable filming and editing short-form video (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar)
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage deadlines independently
  • Interest in the medical aesthetics, beauty, or wellness industry a plus
  • Must be comfortable working around medical/aesthetic treatments (injections, lasers, facials)

Details

  • Hours:10–15 hours/week, (flexible around class schedule]
  • Compensation: $17/hour
  • Duration: Semester-long, with possibility to extend
  • Location: On-site at spa / Hybrid
