4.5 days per week GAP YEAR DERMATOLOGY

FIRM: M, T, TH, F (half day Wed) 

This is a role designed for pre-med or pre-PA graduates seeking hands-on clinical experience in medical and surgical dermatology. The apprentice will perform both administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals; including, but not limited to medical scribing, surgical assist, and subcutaneous lidocaine administration.  This apprenticeship provides education, mentorship, and on-the-job training, including an online certificate course, to prepare for the Dermatology Technician Certification and advance toward a professional healthcare career.  After a six-month period, the certified dermatology technician would be eligible to advance to the MA/DT II position.
