After School Math and Science Tutor

Ahadu Christian Academy, a K–5 Christian school rooted in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church tradition, is seeking math and science tutors to support students during our after-school hours, Monday to Friday, 3:30–6:00 PM, on an as-needed basis. 

What you'll do:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring in math and/or science for K–12 students
• Reinforce concepts from classroom instruction (Singapore Math, Singapore Science)
• Help students build confidence and close skill gaps in a caring, faith-centered environment
• Communicate student progress to as needed

What we're looking for:

• Experience tutoring or teaching students in math and/or science (K–12 experience welcome)
• Patience, warmth, and the ability to connect with young learners
• Reliability and flexibility for as-needed scheduling
• Alignment with ACA's Christian mission and values
• One reference letter speaking to your character and teaching/tutoring experience

Schedule: As-needed, weekday afternoons between 3:30–6:00 PM. Exact days/hours vary based on student need.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
