Position: Home Health Aide (HHA) / State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time | Monday-Friday | Weekend Hours Available
Pay Frequency: Semi-Monthly - 15th and 30th of each month
About the Position
Care For You Home Healthcare Agency is looking for compassionate, dependable, honest, and self-motivated caregivers who truly enjoy helping others.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has a nurturing personality, and understands the importance of providing quality care to seniors and individuals who need assistance in their homes.
We are looking for caregivers who understand that every client is different. A successful caregiver must be able to observe, listen, adapt, and recognize the individual needs and preferences of each person they serve.
Responsibilities
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and social interaction
- Running approved errands and grocery shopping
- Mobility and transfer assistance as appropriate
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
- Following each client’s individualized plan of care
- Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Completing required documentation accurately and on time

Experience & Certification Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable home-care experience with a recognized home-care agency, OR
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification, OR
- Current State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
STNA applicants must have an active Ohio STNA status and be listed in good standing on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
All applicants must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and employment screenings in accordance with applicable Ohio home-care requirements.
Schedule & Transportation
We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions, primarily Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are available but are not required.
Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle are strongly preferred because it makes it easier to accept client assignments and travel between clients.
Employees scheduled with multiple clients may receive mileage reimbursement for approved travel between client homes.
Compensation
Pay ranges from $16.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, assignment, availability, and willingness to travel outside your primary county.
Caregivers willing to travel farther or accept assignments outside their home county may qualify for higher-paying assignments.
