Position Title:
Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Intern (Part-Time) — LOVECHROME

Position Overview
Kirei Plus is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Intern to help grow awareness for LOVECHROME, a premium Japanese hair comb brand, primarily on Instagram (with content repurposed for TikTok). This is a hands-on opportunity for a student to gain real-world experience in content creation, brand marketing, and community management — working directly with the CEO of Kirei Plus and playing a key role in shaping how a growing brand shows up on social media.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain a content calendar delivering 3-4 posts per week across Instagram and TikTok
  • Create original photo and video content featuring LOVECHROME products, and edit/repurpose existing brand assets as needed
  • Write captions and copy aligned with the brand's voice and aesthetic
  • Post content according to the agreed schedule
  • Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a timely, on-brand manner
  • Listen to community feedback and customer questions to inform future content ideas and messaging
  • Build community engagement, including identifying opportunities to connect with followers and relevant accounts
  • Submit content for approval prior to posting during the initial period, transitioning to greater autonomy as trust is established
  • Track basic engagement metrics and share performance updates

Qualifications

  • No prior professional experience required — students at any stage are welcome to apply
  • Interest in social media, marketing, or content creation
  • Comfort with photography/videography and basic photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe apps, or similar)
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Genuine interest in social media trends, particularly on Instagram and TikTok
  • Comfortable communicating directly with followers/customers via comments and DMs
  • Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage a consistent schedule independently
  • Interest in beauty, hair care, or lifestyle brands is a plus
  • Portfolio, personal content, or social accounts you're proud of — feel free to share, but not required

Details

  • Commitment: ~8-10 hours/week
  • Compensation: $12-20/hour, depending on experience
  • Location: Remote
