About the Role

Brewed Awakenings is looking for hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented people to join our Johnston team as Back of House Team Members.

This is a great opportunity for students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to build experience in food service and hospitality. Previous kitchen experience is not required—we're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. We'll teach you the rest.

As a Back of House Team Member, you'll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and making sure every guest receives fresh, high-quality food. You'll work alongside your teammates while learning valuable skills in food preparation, teamwork, food safety, organization, and daily café operations.

What You'll Do

Prepare sandwiches, breakfast items, salads, and other menu items

Follow recipes and preparation standards to ensure consistent food quality

Prepare ingredients and keep stations stocked throughout your shift

Work efficiently to complete orders accurately and on time

Maintain clean and organized food preparation and kitchen areas

Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures

Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing ingredients and supplies

Keep dishes, equipment, and work areas clean

Communicate and work closely with Front of House and Back of House teammates

Help keep operations running smoothly during busy shifts

Follow company standards for quality, cleanliness, and presentation
