- Grant Stipend: $1000 per quarter
- Internship Time Commitment: 6-8 hours per week Fall Quarter with possibility to extend to winter quarter
- Work Structure – Remote/hybrid
- This position is not benefits eligible

Communications and Publicity Metcalf Intern
Department of English Language and Literature, University of Chicago,
The Department of English Language and Literature seeks an undergraduate English major or minor to assist with its communications projects. The primary project is writing web content that will communicate the research of our senior faculty members. This project will involve researching and summarizing the work of significant literary scholars whose careers have been influential internationally, nationally, and institutionally. The intern may also assist with additional communications and publicity needs of the Department.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Attention to detail
- Curiosity about the living history of literary scholarship at the University of Chicago
Preferred
- English major or minor
- Proficiency with digital content creation
