DETAILS
One of four nationally recognized Capital Fellows Programs, The Executive Fellowship Program is an experiential learning program that uniquely integrates high-level government work experience with professional development. The program emphasizes growth through mentorship and hands-on experience, launching Fellows into public service careers.
LOCATION and PAY
- Full-time
- $4,888/month and health, vision, and dental benefits
- Sacramento, CA
ELIGIBILITY
- Be at least 20 years of age by September 1 of the fellowship year
- Bachelor’s degree by September 1 of the fellowship year and
either a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher or a GPA of 2.5 or
higher in the last 60 (semester) or 90 (quarter) units - Demonstrated interest in state government and public policy
- Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the
fellowship program

Deadline: Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).

- Policy Statement
- Resume
- College transcript(s)
- A list of three individuals who will write letters of recommendation
Recommenders must submit letters of recommendation by the deadline of Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST)
