Marketing Intern
POSITION SUMMARY
Advancing Revolutionary Construction (ARC) is seeking a Marketing Intern in Buffalo, NY for our 2027 Summer term! In this role, you will assist with and collaborate on marketing, branding, and advertising activities to support our brand internally and externally on a local, regional, and national level. A key aspect of this role includes using relevant research tools and sources to write content for various digital channels, including email, social media, paid and earned media, industry publications, and our website.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
External Communications (Media, Advertising, Sponsorships, etc.)
• Assist with the development of various content, including social media, marketing videos, presentations, magazine articles, blog posts, proposals, and ad copy.
• Perform a variety of research tasks, using internet sources and primary research methods, to analyze data and prepare clear, concise reports for specific initiatives (on a need by basis).
• Assist our Public Relations firm, The Martin Group, with media relations efforts, as needed.
• Assist with trade show research and creation of branded materials.
Internal Communications
• Manage our bi-weekly internal newsletter with the support of your supervisor. This includes researching, compiling, organizing, and writing all content.
• Assist with interviewing project team members and writing narratives for project profile sheets and other proposal documents at crucial project milestones, particularly project completion.
• Assist with collaborating in the production of, organization, and execution of company events, including employee events and charitable initiatives.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining files and archives for Arc’s the department.
• Supportive role for marketing procurement that includes assisting with maintaining vendor information –current, past, potential; facilitates the flow of materials, files, and information on a project-by-project basis.

• Provide administrative support as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Studying in the field of English, Marketing, or related fields on a bachelor’s degree path.
• Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn MS Office tools (Word and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn Adobe’s InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
