Campaign Intern

EDGE Communications is a leading political and communications consulting firm that works with candidates and elected officials at every level of government. We are seeking interns to support our clients and senior leadership team during the 2026 election cycle.

This paid, entry-level internship is designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring political professionals seeking hands-on experience in Florida politics, campaigns, communications, and voter engagement.

Interns will contribute to strategic communications, research, voter engagement, and campaign operations through direct voter outreach, phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, community engagement, events, digital communications, and other campaign activities as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and conduct voter outreach through direct, in-person engagement
  • Support campaign events and community engagement efforts
  • Collaborate with campaign teams on voter engagement strategy
  • Assist with digital communications efforts
  • Participate in virtual phone banking operations as needed
  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and organizing sessions
  • Support additional campaign and communications projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a results-oriented team environment
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to confidently engage with voters and community members
  • Interest in politics, campaigns, communications, government, or public service
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be able to work in person in Miami, Florida
  • Must be available from September 1 through November 3, 2026
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • U.S. work authorization required

Compensation

  • $15 per hour
  • Approximately 15–30 hours per week
