Position: Edwalla College Guide (Part-Time, Remote)
About the Role
Edwalla connects high school students with current college students for honest, firsthand guidance on campus life. As a guide, you'll host one-on-one video chat sessions with prospective students interested in your school, helping them understand what college is really like and whether it's the right fit for them.
Responsibilities
- Host scheduled video chat sessions with high school students
- Share authentic, firsthand insight into academics, campus life, housing, clubs, and student culture
- Answer questions honestly and respectfully
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and supportive demeanor
Requirements
- Current enrollment (part-time or full-time) at your college or university, undergraduate or graduate
- Reliable internet connection and a device with video chat capability
- Strong communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for your school
- No prior experience required

Technology Requirements
- A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone. Although any of these are compatible with Edwalla, it is highly advisable that guides utilize computers for their chat sessions.
- Stable internet connection sufficient for video chat (standard broadband or strong mobile data)
- Ability to download and navigate the Edwalla platform and video chat interface
- A quiet, appropriate background for video sessions (home, library, private study space, etc.)
