Founding Community and Growth Lead
INVISA is an early-stage startup transforming the U.S. immigration, business expansion, and relocation journey into a predictable, data-driven roadmap. Through our platform, we bridge the gap between visa compliance, financial modeling, and localized lifestyle transitions for international individuals, entrepreneurs and families moving to the United States.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-driven Founding Community & Growth Lead to join our team part-time (10–15 hours/week). Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you will play a critical role in customer discovery, conducting qualitative research interviews with international immigrants, and building an organic audience of future subscribers ahead of our commercial launch.
This role is 100% remote and fully authorized for F-1 students seeking CPT (Curricular Practical Training) or OPT (Optional Practical Training).
Key Responsibilities:
• User Research & Discovery: Source, screen, and schedule qualitative discovery calls with current U.S. immigrants (holders of different visa classes) and prospective foreign nationals to uncover key relocation pain points.
• Community & Waitlist Growth: Help build and nurture early target channels (LinkedIn, niche expat communities, student associations) to drive signups for the INVISA early-access waitlist.
• Insight Synthesis: Summarize qualitative interview feedback into clear product feature recommendations and customer messaging frameworks for our engineering team.
• Micro-Content & Outreach: Assist in packaging immigration/relocation insights into educational short-form content to establish trust with prospective users.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Personal experience or a deep interest in international relocation, cultural adjustment, or U.S. immigration processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to professionals on different platforms and running short, structured interviews with users.
• Scrappy, self-motivated, and excited about building a startup from the ground up alongside the founder.
Hours & Compensation:
• 10 to 15 hours per week (Flexible remote scheduling around class hours).
• Paid Hourly: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (W-2 payroll compliant).
• Formal CPT / OPT offer letter and university paperwork support provided upon hire.
