About the Role

Mash Financial Planning is seeking a part-time Financial Planning Intern to work alongside our advisory team in our Jacksonville, FL office. This role offers hands-on experience building real financial plans and supporting client relationships — an ideal opportunity for a student pursuing a career in financial planning.

What You'll Do

 

•Build and update financial plans in RightCapital and FinDash

•Schedule client appointments and meetings

•Prepare and send client follow-up communications after initial appointments

•Assist with meeting prep, data gathering, and client onboarding

•Maintain accurate client records in our CRM

•Support advisors with other firm-related projects and tasks

What We're Looking For

 

•Currently pursuing a degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or a related major (required)

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•Professional written and verbal communication

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

•Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality

•Available to work in-office in Jacksonville, FL during scheduled hours

Nice to Have

 

•Progress toward or intent to pursue CFP® certification

•Familiarity with financial planning software or CRM systems
