Freelance Product Tester

Tomer is an early-stage startup building proactive AI cognitive assistance for adults with ADHD and other attention and executive-function challenges — and, in time, for people on the autism spectrum, those living with dementia, and anyone who simply wants the extra help. We're in private beta, and we're looking for freelance testers to help make Tomer genuinely useful for the people it's built for. You can see more about what we're building at tomer.work.
Here's the good part: we've built a deliberately simple feedback pipeline, because we know writing up detailed bug reports is exactly the kind of task our users find draining. So most of your feedback happens by showing, not writing — quick screenshots and short screen-and-voice session recordings let you capture what you're seeing and thinking as you go. You use Tomer, you talk through what's working and what isn't, and the recording does the reporting for you.
What you'll do
- Use Tomer as part of your real daily routine
- Capture what you notice as you go — a screenshot, a short session video, a quick voice note, whatever's easiest for you
- Flag what's confusing, what's delightful, and what falls flat
- Hop on the occasional short feedback call, and help us try new features and inputs as they roll out
What we're looking for
- People who notice details and can show or say what they experience clearly — polished writing not required
- Reliable, communicative, and comfortable being honest with us
- Lived experience with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence is a real asset here — we're building Tomer for and with this community, and we strongly encourage neurodivergent applicants and students to apply
- No prior testing experience needed — we care about how you think, not your resume
How it works
- Freelance / contract, fully remote — no set schedule and no minimum; take on as much or as little as you like
- Paid $20–30/hour depending on the depth of the work — deeper sessions toward the top of the range. No timesheet to babysit: your session recording is the record, so we pay for the finding, not the clock
