School of Theatre, Dance, and Film 

Student Employment (Work-Study Required)

Schedule: 10–15 hours per week | Maximum: 25 hours per week

The Department of Theatre, Dance, and Film is seeking dependable, motivated students for several work-study positions. These roles provide hands-on experience supporting our academic programs, productions, and daily operations.

  • Production Shop Assistants
  • Production Management Assistants
  • Academic Program Administrative Assistant

Required Qualifications 

  • Must be a currently enrolled student with active Work-Study status.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with faculty, staff, and peers.
  • Strong professional communication skills.
  • Dependable with the ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or after-hours events, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in theatre production, technical theatre, costume technology, or properties.
  • Experience with inventory, organization, or storage management.
  • Basic shop experience (Welding experience is a plus but not required).
