Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and professional Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Our facility specializes in musculoskeletal conditions, sports and athletic injuries, acute injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and injury prevention. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with our Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to provide hands-on care and support patients throughout their recovery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Athletic Trainer who enjoys a hands-on clinical environment, working directly with patients, and being part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and athletic injuries
• Provide therapeutic exercise, stretching, and rehabilitation interventions
• Assist with injury prevention, conditioning, and functional rehabilitation programs
• Perform appropriate therapeutic modalities within the scope of practice
• Provide hands-on care, including soft tissue techniques and other appropriate interventions
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare provider
• Assist Physical Therapists and other providers with individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
• Safely operate and maintain rehabilitation and therapeutic equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, providers, and staff
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patients in returning to their normal activities, work, exercise, and sports

Qualifications

• Current Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, injury prevention, and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Comfortable working with electronic health records and computer systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports medicine, or athletic training is preferred
