ACI College Prep is an established private preparatory school located in Rowland Heights, California, and we are looking for a charismatic, passionate, and knowledgeable AP Calculus instructor to join our team on a part-time basis.

Are you a math guru who can make difficult concepts easy to understand?

We’re looking for an engaging teacher who can take challenging calculus concepts and break them down into clear, simple, and approachable lessons that high school students can understand and apply.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead engaging AP Calculus review workshops for high school students
  • Reinforce and review concepts students are learning in their regular classes
  • Help students prepare for quizzes, tests, and AP exams
  • Connect classroom material to Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus content and expectations
  • Explain challenging mathematical concepts using clear, relatable examples
  • Build students’ confidence and problem-solving skills
  • Create an energetic and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Strongly knowledgeable in AP Calculus BC, AP Calculus AB, and AP Pre-Calculus
  • An enthusiastic and charismatic communicator
  • Able to simplify complex mathematical concepts
  • Comfortable working with high school students
  • Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed
  • Reliable, patient, and encouraging

Candidate should:

  • Have finished a Bachelor's degree
  • Be versed in classroom management
  • Ideal applicant is credentialed or preliminary credentialed
  • Have 6 months of teaching experience
  • Have experience working with College, middle school, or high school-aged students
  • Commit to a set teaching schedule until December 19, 2026

Positions:

  • AP Calculus Workshop in Rowland Heights on Tuesdays and Thursdays from  4 pm to 6 pm
