Vaccine Genie is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to help grow awareness of our Universal Vaccine Record Platform. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and growth marketing within a fast-growing health-tech startup.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates interested in healthcare, technology, entrepreneurship, and mission-driven marketing. Interns will gain real-world experience while helping improve access to vaccine records for families, travelers, expats, and international students around the world.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels.
• Create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, landing pages, and marketing materials.
• Support SEO initiatives through keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking.
• Help manage and grow Vaccine Genie's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit, and other platforms.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, product, business, and technology teams to support marketing initiatives.
• Assist with outreach efforts to universities, student organizations, healthcare organizations, and community groups.

Skills Preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong research abilities.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Slack and ClickUp is a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Health, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Interest in healthcare, technology, startups, or entrepreneurship.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Internship Details

• Hours: Flexible schedule, up to 10 hours per week.
• Location: Fully Remote.
• Communication: Team collaboration occurs through Slack, ClickUp, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Duration: Six-month internship with the opportunity to reapply for future terms.
• CPT/OPT: Supported where applicable.

Mentorship

• Marketing, Business, and UX interns work closely with the COO, CEO, and department leads.
• Technical interns work closely with the CTO and engineering leadership.
• All interns have opportunities to collaborate across teams and departments.
