Full-Time Orchestra Teacher – K–12 Charter School

Weber Educational Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced Orchestra Teacher for a K–12 charter school campus in the Dallas area for the upcoming school year.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Orchestra Teacher
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Location: Dallas-area charter school
• Grade Levels: K–12
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Curriculum: Instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Music/Fine Arts, with an emphasis on orchestra and string performance
• Start Date: Beginning of the 2026–2027 school year

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate orchestra instruction to students in grades K–12
• Teach beginning through advanced string students based on student experience and ability
• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with Texas Music/Fine Arts TEKS
• Teach proper technique, music theory, sight-reading, ensemble skills, and performance practices
• Direct rehearsals and prepare students for performances and school events
• Create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
• Maintain a well-organized and productive orchestra program
• Collaborate with campus administration and staff to support student success

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field preferred
• Strong background in string/orchestra performance and instruction
• Experience teaching students across multiple grade levels
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for developing young musicians and building a successful orchestra program
• Texas EC–12 Music certification preferred, but not required
