Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 (plus bonus opportunities)
Target Start Date: 2027–2028 school year (or January 2027 option)
About the Role:
Lorien Wood is a Christ-centered PreK-12 private school. We are seeking a stalwart Christian Head of School to lead our community with energy, vision, and a commitment to whole-child formation. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, this pivotal role involves overseeing school operations, fostering an innovative learning environment where character matters, and ensuring strong student engagement. The ideal candidate brings a passion for education and the outdoors, paired with a creative approach to school management.
Primary Operational Responsibilities include:
- Admissions
- Classroom Education
- School Administration and Facilities
- School Community-Building Events
Qualifications include:
- Practicing Christian (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Preferred Master’s degree or higher in education
- Evidence of prior classroom and/or school administration experience
- Excellent knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy
- At least five years teaching experience
