Interior Designer

Interior Designer

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of professional interior design experience and a strong understanding of the design process, from sourcing and space planning to project coordination.

We are looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and capable of picking up new tasks and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with residential and/or commercial interior design projects from concept through installation.
  • Create, update, and organize AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, furniture plans, and other design documentation.
  • Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, materials, plumbing fixtures, hardware, accessories, and other FF&E based on project needs and budgets.
  • Assist with preparing client presentations, material selections, specification packages, and design documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project information and specifications within Studio Designer.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, showrooms, contractors, and other project partners.
  • Assist with proposals, purchase orders, order tracking, project schedules, and general project organization.
  • Support the design team with installations, site visits, vendor coordination, and day-to-day project needs.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience working in interior design or a related design environment.
  • Degree, certificate, or coursework in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Experience with or working knowledge of Studio Designer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of FF&E and material sourcing.
  • Ability to accurately take and document site and field measurements.
  • General knowledge of furniture, fabrics, finishes, materials, lighting, and interior construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a design team.
  • Reliable, proactive, professional, and willing to take initiative.
