Entry Level Design Engineer

Our technology-driven firm’s engineering department currently has an immediate opening for an entry level Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, BOMs, drawings, catalogs ,estimating, and process improvement. The successful candidate will report directly to the Lead Designer, and collaborate with sales/purchasing and shop/assembly teams on design projects. A design Engineer with SolidWorks proficiency and who

uses specialized software to create models and drawings of machinery or capital equipment, 

Research new materials and methods of development

Organize and maintain existing engineering records

Construct prototypes and confirm designs with the design/purchasing team

Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes

Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards

We are looking for an engineering graduate with at least a bachelor's degree in any engineering field. Especially chemical, mechanical, electrical or process engineering. This is an entry level position.
