Digital Marketing Intern
Location: 2602 Columbia Pike, Suite B, Arlington, VA 22204 — Hybrid (on-site + remote)
Term: August 2026 – November 2026 (opportunity to extend / go permanent)
Hours: ~8 hours/week on-site, plus remote hours as needed
Compensation: Sliding scale, unpaid up to $500/month depending on experience
Type: Internship (contractor, temporary)
About the role
Your work goes live — not into a folder. At Mpanadas, home of The American Empanada, you'll shoot the content, design the creative, and launch real ad campaigns with a real budget, then track the numbers and make them hit harder. You own the whole loop, from idea to results.
What you'll do
- Create and edit scroll-stopping video, photo, and graphic content
- Launch and manage live ad campaigns across Meta, Google Search, and Google Display
- Manage a real monthly ad budget of $2,000–$2,500
- Report campaign results using graphs and basic statistics
- Use AI tools to improve campaign performance and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
You'll fit right in if you are
- Creative and analytical
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable reading graphs and basic stats
- Equipped with a computer and transportation to the work site
Preferred (not required)
- Spanish fluency
- Experience with digital ads (Google Search, Google Display, Meta)
