AI & Automation Intern - Summer 2027
Each summer, our company welcomes students for a first-hand look into our business. Our interns study a variety of majors, and work in departments across the organization, taking on projects that have long-term impact on our business. This position is for an AI & Automation Intern in Columbus, OH. This role is on a global, customer-focused team that includes experienced developers, quality assurance testers, business analysts, and support engineers who collaborate in the development of complex software.
The duties and responsibilities for this particular position may include but are not limited to:
- Familiarize yourself with our AI and automation tools, and provide tailored recommendations for how teams within the IT department and across the broader business can leverage them
- Identify ways agentic AI and automation can be used, and design and deliver solutions that address current business challenges
- Oversee the rollout of automation and AI projects - assessment, documentation, testing, reporting, stakeholder management, etc.
- Monitor and maintain automation tools and AI systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Champion the responsible use of agentic AI and automation across our company
Education/Experience Required
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - May 2029. Preference for Computer Science, Business or Data Analytics, or related majors.
- Comfort in testing and utilizing agentic AI and automation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
