Freelance K-Beauty Content Creator

Gaia K-Beauty is looking for a creative Freelance Social Media Content Creator who genuinely enjoys Korean skincare and follows K-Beauty trends.

This is a flexible, paid contract opportunity ideal for a student, emerging creator, or freelancer who loves skincare, understands TikTok and Instagram Reels, and can turn products and skincare topics into engaging short-form content.

Responsibilities

  • Create approximately 3 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels and TikTok
  • Film and edit skincare product videos, routines, product highlights, educational content, and lifestyle-style content
  • Develop creative hooks, concepts, and content ideas
  • Research current K-Beauty, skincare, ingredient, TikTok, and Instagram trends
  • Create product B-roll and occasional photography
  • Write suggested captions or on-screen text when needed
  • Submit completed content to Gaia K-Beauty for review and approval before publication
  • Make reasonable revisions based on feedback

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in and knowledge of Korean skincare and K-Beauty
  • Familiarity with popular K-Beauty brands, products, ingredients, routines, and trends
  • Experience creating TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar short-form video content
  • Strong visual sense and creativity
  • Comfortable filming and editing independently
  • Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools
  • Able to explain skincare products and concepts in a clear, engaging way
  • Reliable and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines
  • Must have access to your own phone/camera and editing tools

Role Details

  • Pay: $17–$25/hour depending on experience and portfolio
  • Hours: Up to approximately 10 hours per week
  • Expected deliverables: Approximately 3 short-form videos per week
  • Schedule: Flexible
  • Location: Primarily remote; preference for applicants in or near Murrieta/Temecula, CA for occasional product pickup or exchange
