About Hemmy Productions
Hemmy Productions is an independent film and television production company developing a portfolio of original entertainment projects.
We are currently expanding our investment and financing research and are seeking a motivated Finance & Business Analyst Intern to conduct focused research on potential film and entertainment investment partners.
About the Internship
This is a hands-on investment research and business analysis opportunity.
You will be assigned a specific potential investment organization and conduct an independent analysis to determine whether it could be a strong potential financing or strategic partner for Hemmy Productions.
Your central question will be:
Would this organization be a good fit for Hemmy Productions, and why?
You will receive background information about Hemmy Productions and previous investor research to help you understand our business, projects, and financing strategy.
What You Will Do
Your research will include:
- Investment research and company research
- Analysis of the organization's investment criteria and business model
- Identification of investment sectors, stages, geography, and financing focus
- Research into film, television, media, entertainment, or related investments
- Review of publicly available information for basic investment due diligence
- Analysis of potential financing and strategic opportunities
- Evaluation of how the investor's interests align with Hemmy Productions
- Identification of potential concerns, limitations, or reasons the organization may not be a fit
- Researching potential decision-makers or appropriate points of contact
- Preparing a professional business-analysis report
- Developing a recommendation for management
Your Final Recommendation
Your report should answer:
1. Is this organization a potential fit for Hemmy Productions?
2. Why or why not?
3. Which Hemmy project or area of our business could be most relevant to them?
4. What would make Hemmy attractive to this organization?
5. What concerns or obstacles should management consider?
6. Should Hemmy pursue the relationship?
7. If yes, what would you recommend as the first approach?
Your final analysis will be reviewed by Hemmy Productions management as part of our evaluation of potential financing and strategic relationships.
