Quality Intern
Compensation: $16/hour
Reports To: Quality Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our growing Quality team. This role is a hands-on opportunity to get real exposure to quality assurance in a fast-paced CPG environment — you'll support retain inspections, stability trending, complaint investigations, and SOP management, and build practical QA skills that go well beyond the classroom.
What You'll Do
- Conduct retain sample inspections, checking product integrity and documenting findings accurately.
- Support stability trending by taking incoming Eurofins stability testing reports and logging results into tracking spreadsheets.
- Help identify trends, outliers, or out-of-spec results in stability data and flag them to the Quality team.
- Provide complaint investigation support, including gathering data, documenting findings, and tracking follow-up.
- Assist with reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to keep documentation current and audit-ready.
- Support general Quality team documentation workflows, including file organization and version control.
Requirements / Must Haves
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field (rising junior/senior preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data and documentation.
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to log and track data.
- Ability to follow written procedures precisely and understand the importance of documentation control.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for investigation notes and SOP updates.
- Resourceful and willing to figure things out when ambiguity arises.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Haves
- Prior internship, coursework, or lab experience related to quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing.
- Interest in CPG, supplements, or regulated consumer products.
- Familiarity with stability testing concepts or complaint/CAPA processes and product inspection.
