- Prepare samples, standards, calibration solutions, reagents, blanks, spikes, and other quality-control materials.
- Operate and support analytical instrumentation, which may include:
- HPLC/UHPLC;
- LC-MS/MS;
- GC-MS/MS;
- ICP-MS; and
- other laboratory instrumentation appropriate to assigned testing areas.
- Perform instrument calibration, system-suitability checks, and routine preventative maintenance.
- Monitor analytical runs and evaluate calibration, QC, and instrument-performance data.
- Review analytical data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established acceptance criteria.
- Identify and promptly escalate deviations, unusual results, instrument problems, and QC failures.
- Assist with instrument troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Enter and review laboratory information and analytical results in the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
- Maintain accurate, complete, and contemporaneous laboratory records.
- Maintain sample integrity and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Assist with method verification, validation, and implementation activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, standards, reagents, and inventory.
- Follow applicable safety, chemical-handling, waste-disposal, contamination-control, and data-integrity requirements.
- Perform work in accordance with Dope Diagnostics' ISO/IEC 17025 quality-management system and applicable New York State Office of Cannabis Management requirements.
- Work collaboratively with technical directors, quality personnel, and other laboratory analysts as the laboratory completes validation, regulatory approval, and commercial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental science, forensic science, pharmaceutical science, or a related scientific discipline; or another combination of education and experience satisfying applicable New York State laboratory personnel requirements.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the
laboratory during a shift.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE),
including lab coats, gloves, and eye protection, for the duration of
laboratory work.
• Regular exposure to laboratory chemicals, solvents, and reagents in
accordance with established safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and carry laboratory supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
