The Sexton Companies is looking for enthusiastic Part-Time Leasing Professionals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for college students who want a flexible work schedule, valuable sales and business experience, and the chance to build professional skills while earning money during college.

This position is ideal for students who can work a few days during the week, weekends, or a combination of both. Schedules can be designed around your class schedule.

What You'll Do

As a Part-Time Leasing Professional, you will be one of the first people prospective residents meet and will help them find their next home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person
• Greeting prospective residents and learning about what they are looking for in an apartment
• Conducting tours of apartments, models, and the community
• Following up with prospective residents and encouraging them to apply
• Helping market the property and generate new leasing leads
• Learning sales techniques and how to overcome objections and close a lease
• Providing friendly, professional customer service to current residents
• Answering resident questions and helping direct maintenance requests
• Assisting with property inspections and community walks
• Maintaining accurate leasing records and information
• Learning and using property management and leasing software
• Helping keep the leasing office and community looking welcoming and professional

• Able to provide reliable transportation

No apartment industry experience is required. We will provide training. Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, events, real estate, or a similar environment is a plus.
