Part-Time Staging Assistant
Ford Staging & Design is looking for a part-time Staging Assistant / Interior Design Intern to join our growing home staging and design business.
This is a hands-on position that would be a great fit for an interior design student or someone interested in gaining real-world experience in home staging, styling, and residential design. You’ll work alongside the owner on staging projects throughout the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas and get firsthand experience seeing spaces come together from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with home staging installs and removals
- Help style and accessorize rooms during staging projects
- Pack, unpack, load, and organize staging décor and inventory
- Prepare and organize inventory before and after projects
- Help keep our storage spaces organized
- Assist with selecting and pulling pieces for upcoming stages
- Jump in wherever needed on staging days
Who We’re Looking For
- Currently studying interior design, decorating, or a related field or someone with a strong interest in home staging and design
- Has a good eye for design and enjoys styling spaces
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- A self-starter who notices what needs to be done and jumps in
- Comfortable with the physical side of staging, including lifting and carrying furniture, décor, bins, rugs, etc.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Positive, easygoing, and willing to learn
- Has reliable transportation
Schedule
This is a part-time, flexible position with hours varying based on our staging schedule. Most work takes place during weekday daytime hours.
